Rooted in Utah, Frederico started as a small family landscaping business built on craft and care. When Adam Frederico took over as a second-generation owner, he didn’t just buy a family business — he had a legacy to protect.

The road wasn’t smooth. Growth brought challenges, and the future wasn’t guaranteed. But Adam doubled down. On people. On quality. On doing the work the right way — even when it was harder.

That steady commitment changed everything.

Frederico Outdoor Living was named Lawn & Landscape Magazine’s #1 Best Place to Work in America (2024) and earned spots on both the Inc. 5000 and Utah Valley Magazine’s 30 Fastest-Growing Companies lists in 2024 and 2025.

Their work now ranges from custom backyards to major public projects — including planting over 8,000 perennials, grasses, shrubs, and trees at Thanksgiving Point’s Ashton Gardens.

Adam was one of the first members to join Durable when we launched in 2024. It’s been a privilege to watch him build a company that proves growth and groundedness can go hand in hand.

It’s not every day you see a nationally recognized, fast-growing company stay true to its roots — and do it right here in Utah. Hats off to Adam and the Frederico team.
