Meet Stuart Derman

Stuart Derman is a successful entrepreneur and business leader with a track record of building and scaling organizations in high-growth, complex industries.

He is the Founder and CEO of RELLO, a renewable energy and B2B growth firm built around long-term value creation rather than short-term tactics.

Prior to founding RELLO, Stuart led marketing at fast-growing companies across renewable energy, SaaS, healthcare, and professional services. Working inside these businesses shaped his operator mindset and reinforced his belief that sustainable growth requires discipline, clarity, and patience rather than short-term optimization.

Stuart is also the Founder and Chairman of Wasatch Mountain Arts, a nonprofit best known for producing the Wasatch Mountain Film Festival. Under his leadership, the festival has grown into one of the nation’s leading outdoor documentary film festivals, attracting filmmakers from around the world. The organization reflects his ability to build mission-driven institutions while balancing creative vision with operational rigor.

Stuart has been recognized by Utah Business with both the 20 in Their 20s award in 2018 and the 40 Under 40 award in 2025 for his entrepreneurial leadership. He brings an operator’s perspective to board service, grounded in building, scaling, and governing organizations.
